Did you know that the way you structure your website makes a big difference in your page rank? If your website is messy, not organized and has links here, there and everywhere, you are more than likely not getting good page rank for any of your pages.

To improve your page rank you need to structure your website well. This enables the Google spider to clearly identify what your site is about and therefore this improves your page rank.

This method is known as creating ‘silos’.

You need to structure your site on 2 to 3 levels and have all webpages that relate to each other in the same directory. So, have a look at your current structure and see if you simply have a large mess or it is relatively structured well.

This method is know as creating ‘silos’. This is similar to how a farmer may have several silos and only keeps products that are the same in each silo. This is an organized way to build your website and will allow the search engine spiders to navigate your site with ease.

Once you have set your site up in a well structured manner, you can spend your time building traffic.

Once you have set your site up in a well structured manner, you can spend your time building traffic. Building traffic for free to your site is the ideal solution. There are plenty of free ways to then build traffic to your site. This in hand with a good site structure will create a website that is high in the search engine results. It will take a while to do, but if you put some good effort into it and build a lot of relevant quality backlinks you will see that your ranking starts to improve.

Silos are huge. With good structure and keywords you can rank higher with less backlinks than you would need otherwise.

Silo structuring is basic, functional, and effective. Strangely, not many webmasters are using this technique which is a pity because just as you point out – it is very effective. Anyone building niche sites should consider a silo structure.
