Getting Better Conversion Rates – What You Must Do

Written By: Gerry on August 13, 2009 6 Comments

Getting better conversions from your website is critical. YEP – Critical.

Why?

Because if you get better conversions you don’t have to drive as much traffic. Everyone knows that driving ‘GOOD QUALITY TARGETED’ Traffic is a mission. OK, it may not be a mission to mars, but it certainly takes some significant effort.

Everyone knows that driving ‘GOOD QUALITY TARGETED’ Traffic is a mission. OK, it may not be a mission to mars, but it certainly takes some significant effort.

So, if you are going to put in the hard yards and get those visitors flocking to your site, you wanna make sure that when they get there, you ‘PUNCH EM’ between the eyes with your site and product.

Here are a couple of points you must consider.

Links:
Every link you have on your page is an EXIT DOOR. If you don’t want them to leave – close all your EXIT DOORS!

Simple, make them focus on your product.

Professionalism:
How do you look? A bit shabby? Did you comb your hair and brush your teeth this morning before you left your house?

If you didn’t chances are that if you were a salesperson, you might find your potential customers looking at you strangely.

The same goes for your site. Does it look amateurish? If so – FIX IT!

Say What?:
What you say makes a BIG difference. The words on your sales page need to be the right words. Read your sales page carefully. Then re-read it. Then again. Then again.

You get the idea right? Make sure you know every inch on your page.

These are just 3 things that make a difference to your CONVERSION RATE.

If you are tired of driving traffic and making a few bucks, you MUST check out this website for improving your conversions.

Hi, Thanks for your informative article.

    Making money online is about;

    1. Product
    2. Traffic
    3. Conversion.

Get these 3 things right and you can make cash.

It can be quite difficult to make money online. However, plenty of people are doing it. It takes time to learn

the tricks of the trade. It is possible though.

There are more fast cash ideas at my website if you are interested.

    Regards

    Jo.

Is 2% conversion good for Adsense clicks? So if you have 100 visitors per day on one website, that means you only have 2 clicks per day for that site. Let’s say you get an average of one dollar per click on your site. That’s only $2/day or $60/month for that site. So, is this conversion rate good?

    Hi Virtual Family,

I would say a 2% conversion rate is very low. You should be getting a better conversion rate than that.

Of course, it may depend on your niche and your layout. Try revising your layout for better results.

    Regards
